K/R Summer Dress

I'm shopping my closet, which of course means that I'm dying to go shopping.  Yesterday, I just went.  It's our local mall's summer clearance, and I wanted to shop it.  I had a great time, and this summer dress came home with me.  Should I keep?

Pros: Cotton, Easy, breezy, oversized, casual, washable, etc
Cons: Is it too dark?  Is it too oversized?  Is it flattering enough?

ETA: OOPS - now it has a pic!

I think it is perfect for summer. It looks nice with your sandals a. The cobalt and black are lovely.

Great summer dress. And I think it would look great with a denim jacket and booties for apple picking in September too.

I think it's a perfect summer dress and it looks really nice on you.

Easy breezy throw-on-and-go summer dress! Perfect for the heat! I like the colours too - looks good!

This is the perfect summer dress, I think. Comfortable, breezy, loose - and I  love the colors on you. Maybe a lighter shoe if you feel it's too dark? But I think it's great!

Like it a lot! If it's from Old Navy, I have the same one in black/white, although I wear it more as a tunic.

  • amiable replied 9 years ago

Yep - you nailed it Aubergine.  I think this one is long enough to function as a dress.  I hope :)  ?

  • Aubergine replied 9 years ago

Definitely! I think mine is just more tunic-y because of the size I got.

I think it works fine as a dress, and if you wanted to go more figure flattering rather than fashion forward could go there with more refined footwear, a jacket on top, and maybe? a narrow black belt occasionally.

Also it looks like the kind of thing you will never want to take off and will happily sleep in once it starts getting worn out :D  (or I would, I love those kind of easy breezy pop-up dresses.)

I really like this Amy - nice fit and I like the colors. You can change it up with different footwear and toppers too when it's cool enough.

Great summer dress! Gorgeous colours and I like the relaxed fit. Keep.

You know what? I really like this on you. T-shirt dresses can be dangerous, slipping into old nightgown territory, but not this one.

I love it on you! And look at your face - you love it on you, too :)
