Swimsuit test run

Sorry for hogging the forum tonight!  I'm not used to this much unscheduled time.  (And really should be doing the dishes....)

Here's what I think will be my swimsuit for the summer.  The top is padded and has underwires - giving me MUCH more support and coverage than my other options.  It's a bit lower cut than I want, but it's a swimsuit after all.  I made the bottoms by cutting apart a different, non-supportive swim top and sewing it as a very mini skirt to black swim shorts.  Does it work?

This is the one my kids approved.

#3 is the other one they said was "okay", but not as good as this one.  And it also doesn't have the support/padding I like in the bust.

What do you think?  Will it do?  (I'm not sure I can do anything about if if not - other than wear a tee shirt over it - at least not for our upcoming ocean visit.  But I could look for a replacement once we return).

I really like #1 and #2 ! You are very clever. This is modern and modest and I think you look great.

I think your swimsuit looks really good.  #3 is good too and I like the pattern.    I think you should pick the one that you feel most comfortable in.

How clever of you to DIY a swim skirt!  Both options look good.

Ugh, I'm on the lookout for a decent swimsuit myself for 2 family reunions I have this summer.  Blah, I hate being seen in a swimsuit.  :(

    Knock out!

Yes, 1 and 2 look amazing! How clever to make the swim mini from an old top!

I like the first one!  As long as it stays put.

#1.  Like the different top / bottom fabric, and it's a modest suit that has a some sporty flair.  Looks great with the orange jacket, btw

#1-2 is amazing! Love it with the coral top and DIY mini-skirt. This looks like an outfit you could wear out and about--it doesn't even look like a swimsuit in #2!

#1-2 is great! Really clever to make the mini swim skirt yourself! Congrats on the swimsuit - finding one that is supportive, forgiving and nice can be really hard. You've done a great job! :-)

#1 is striking on you and if that's the best fit and support then that's the one. Great job!

I agree with the kids -- 1/2 looks great! Not as crazy about 3 -- it actually looks too big for you.

1 and 2 are great. The neckline and print are very flattering on your skin tone. The 3d one seems meh... just can't seem to figure it out. It might be the color.
