WIW: a few days worth

I really want to get back to posting a WIW every day.  It just seems that theres so little time!

I'm noticing a theme in my outfits for the last several days.  First, I love this gray cashmere, and it's a real season-transition workhorse for me - I think due to the color (though it's also just the right warmth for my office).  Second, I'm liking a neutral outfit with one bright pop quite a bit.

#1-2 Gray and white.  I wore it without the jacket most of the day.  I thought this one worked, until I got in our van which some kid had just "vacuumed", with the shop vac inside the vehicle, so the entire interior was super covered in dust.  *sigh*.

#3 Black, gray and orange.  This one I also felt like worked.  Does it?  How could it be improved?

#4 Teal and cream with hot pink nails (#5).  I tried this nail polish - I'm guessing it's fuschia?  - and loved it with my skin tone.  Now I need a top this color.

#6 Blue, green with red ballet flats.  Does it work?  It feels too dark with spring being here.

#7 Red and white.  I don't think it works.  Also, the white shoes seem frumpy to me.  Are they?

I wore the gray sweater another day as well, just didn't get pics.

What do you think?  Suggestions for improvement?

#1/2 are STELLAR...especially 2 with the white necklace visible.

    I missed your wiws.

Great gray sweater! I love 3 - did you get some new sandals? Those look comfy. I'm probably way offhere, but I wonder if the white shoes in #7 would look better without the vest?

Good point Pil - That white vest really isn't my style, I don't think.  (Either that, or I'm styling it wrong for my style).  I think it'll find a new home.

And thanks both pil and bj!

The sandals are Danskos that I got last summer at a rummage sale and just brought out.  They are super comfy, if a little chunky.

    1. Love white jeans on you. I'd rather see a lighter shoe, however. The red jacket and white necklace are wonderful.
    2. Loving the white jeans with your grey sweater s d more white. This time the black shoes look fine to my eye.
    3. Your boys are such sweet accessories. Have you tried the blouse tucked?
    4. Love this!
    7. A white denim vest would be fun with these jeans and shirt. The red looks great on you

Wow, number one is awesome! I have actually been searching for a necklace just like that. It's perfect with the white pants. Love 4 also.

IKWYM about making the time for pictures. I always think I can squeeze it in on the way to the car, but that's not always the case. I hope you can do it, because I really enjoy your WIWs!

    I have missed you!

    Love 1 and 2 - great look.

I think the white vest can go too. Great sandals!

I love 1 and 2 though I think I may prefer a lighter shoe. 4 is pretty good, but i'm not sure if the necklines appear a bit at odds with each other. 6 is so  cute with the scarf and shoes and I love 7 and agree with the others about the vest. Red and orange really suits you Amy!

    Thanks All!  You're so encouraging!

I'm still working to find my white-shoe groove.  I have several pair, but they all seem a bit off.  The ones I liked the most (they're cream, perforated and rate) suddenly cause all sorts of foot pain.

I also really really want a white or light belt.  I'm considering buying white leather paint and turning one of my brown belts white :)

My favorites are #1/2 and #4!

I can't get past the first outfit! Your BEST!

KILLER with the white bookending- jeans and necklace! And the black bookending with the shoes and hint of a belt. And the bright coral is terrific! A 20 out of 10 :)

I really love #4, the muted colors are so pretty, and those shoes look very stylish and comfy.

LOVE #1/2!!!!! So excited to see this! You are really continuing leaps and bounds!

Of course I am also delighted to welcome you to the fuchsia club!! Best. Colour. Ever.

I think #7 is fab.  You're right about the vest though.  I second the suggestion of the denim vest.  #6 is my favorite, except I think the jeans may be a bit large, and definitely need a hemming.
