WIW Catchup

Life is particularly busy right now, so not only is my participation minimal, but I've missed photographing several outfits.  One of the non-photo ones has become a favorite and been worn twice in the past week - but neither time did I get a photo.

Here's the photos I did get though.  Nothing super special.

#1 is my gray drapey eShakti tunic with black skinnies and my new moto vest.  Does it work?

#2 is new-to me ankle pants (navy), and a new-to-me shirt too (went Good willing last week!).  Oh, and the new-to-me watermelon bag too.  I'm on team wear.  The jacket is the one Kate sent me a couple of years ago.  I still completely love it.

#3 is white and carmelly cognac.  I liked this color combo quite a lot.

#4 was white and brown with blue jeans.  This one didn't really work for me, and I suspect the white lace shell, and maybe also the brown leather bomber, need to move on.  We'll see.

Anything stand out to you that I'm missing?

Good to see your outfits again, Amy. Your hair is getting so long. My favorite outfits are 3 and 4. The rich browns look great with your hair and eyes. Hang on to that bomber and see how you feel about it in the fall.

2 and 4 are superb!  I love seeing your style evolve.

I like 1, I love the long length on you, and also like your hair up. However I do also like 3 and 4. I think the leather jacket might work well with boots in winter...

Keep the bomber! Great fit and great color on you!

#2 and #4 are great. I would have liked to see the open toe shoes from #3 with #4. The white flare jeans fit nicely, but I would like to see them with light, possibly white, footwear. You are looking slim, and the longer hair suits you!

I think these are all nice outfits!  I like the new pants in #2 and the cognac and white is a great combo in #3.  I see nothing wrong with the jacket in #4.  Why do you think it should move on?  The top underneath might be a little fussy for the jacket but overall I think the outfit looks good.

I wish I could see the tunic in 1 a bit better, but I get the idea and I like it.
the other 3 outfits are nice, I like 4 and can't see why you are not happy with it.

Outfits 2, 3, 4 are really great on you, color, style, etc. I think if you don't love the cognac bomber, maybe look for a replacement in the same color as it looks fantastic with your hair coloring and the bookended shoe color.

Great outfits! I prefer the last two, those brown colours look so good on you.

#3 and 4 are gorgeous on you.

The tunic with the vest in #1 totally works, fun moody little look. #2 and #3 are very nice, and I especially love the contrast of your red hair against the creamy jacket in #2. So pretty! For #4 there are a couple things you could try if it didn't quite feel right (though it does look good!): a longer top since the jacket is short, a shorter jacket since the top is short, or dressier shoes to pick up on the lace.

You look great! Looks like chilly temps?

Oh Amy, I meant also to say that when you do those shady photos you do generally need to brighten the photo a bit. Either by lengthening the exposure or by using a flash. Your camera may have an exposure compensation setting, those usually go up/down by thirds. I'd suggest trying +2/3 or +1. FWIW, my shady photos are usually set to brighten to a full stop up (+1).

I like all the outfits. I think the eyeglasses look great, and your shoes game is on.
Still think blue is the bomb on you, but the crisp whites are really popping.

    Exactly what Denise/Cocolion said!

#2 is superb! I'm not in love with the brown bomber though, at least not in combination with brown shoes. :)

Great outfits, I especially like#s 3 and 5.  Those shade of cognac are beautiful on you, especially with white.

You are looking great! I'm happy to see you post again!! Love the cognac tones on you. Wow #2 is crisp and polished and I love the blues and whites too. I really like your hair, too. Hope things aren't too too hectic.

#2 and #4 are my faves. Perhaps a little roll on the pants in #2 for structure and polish? You look amazing in cognac.

Looking good! Love 2,3 & 4... Cognac is a great color for you!
