WIW: color blocky

I've been walking (quite slowly) on a treadmill while I work for the past week and a half, and I must say - I'm quite a lot warmer that way.  (My legs are threatening to fall off, but that's another matter).

Anyway, to take advantage of the extra body heat, I'm wearing lighter weight clothes (still with long underwear and the like, of course...)

My cobalt cords were calling to me this morning, and I decided that color blocking would look cheerful.  So here's my attempt - semi-tucked to minimize my muffin top, of course :)

I'm planning to wear this out with my husband tonight - suggestions for improvement?

    Love those cobalt trousers!

I have read in the Harvard Review that walking while you work is supposed to improve mental capacity and make you sharper and a better decision maker. It actually said they should replace those leather board room chairs with tread mills!

I love, love, love those trousers on you, and with the white belt and color block top you have created a refined stylish outfit!

Fab outfit! I love the pop of white you have added with the belt. Your boots nicely bookend the black in the color-block top. You look great in cobalt.

Fabulous!! And how do you like the treadmill desk? I do not have room for one in my room or I would probably have it.

I love those cords, Amy.  The silhouette and color blocking are fab.  Hope you enjoy the evening out!

Thanks all!  My legs are pretty sore, and I'm hungrier than I'm used to being with this treadmill walking.  But it does keep me warmer, and my hubby assures me that I can expect not to be so sore after about three weeks. :)

I had a fun and relaxing night out - Thank you!
