Aida's post today featured a color combo that I liked immediately, so I decided to copy it.
Hers is emerald and mine is more of an apple green, but I like it combined with navy and cognac.
What do you think? Is it working? I would have never thought to add cognac without Aida - thank you Aida!
(This navy drapey top is recently saved from the purge pile by adding some elastic at the back of the neck, which is doing great at keeping it from sliding off my shoulders. Yay for easy fixes!)

Oh how fun! :D I think this version of the color combo works beautifully (plus I adore seeing apple greens on others, I can't easily wear it but love it). Really nice fluid fit on all items, and great little fix on the top.

Cognac is just the right color to set off the pairing of navy and apple green. I like how your top drapes so gracefully. I also like the young fashion critic by your side!

I almost missed this Amy but so glad I didn't because it looks great. I really like the fit of the top and bottoms and the cognac does add just the right touch. Your hair looks really good too - it's getting longer I see and I do like it a bit longer like this.

These shorts sat unworn in my closet all summer long. I figured out yesterday that it was because I didn't know what to wear with them - my potential tops to wear with them are white or blue, and my summer shoes were black. It didn't occur to me to try cognac, and the blue and green combo didn't seem like it went right with black. Thanks to Aida for saving these shorts and showing me that blue and green with cognac is terrific in the late summer/early fall.

Viva, I'm hoping to grow my hair out to about shoulder length. It's growing pretty quickly, so I think it'll be there in a few months. We'll see. I feel like having it longer makes my face also look longer, so I'm not entirely convinced that I'll like it. But I think it's worth trying. :) I'm hoping to keep the back in an inverted-bob shape.
