WIW: Finishing up Coral, Blue and White Week

Three more outfits for Coral, Blue and White week.

I ended up interpreting this rather loosely by the end of the week.  Sunday was Straight red, white and blue (#1).  Friday featured a striped tank that was coral, white blue, mint and black(#2)  Thursday was navy and salmon, with cream shoes and a white belt (#3).  My photo bomber matched me, so I didn't crop him out, like I usually do.  Besides, I figure it's been a while since you all have seen him :)

I enjoyed all the renditions of this ensemble that I tried (and the ones from the first post too) - this is a fun color combo for me.  Thanks for the ensemble, Angie!

And it's now been more than two weeks since I wore black.

As always, I love suggestions for improvement!  :)

Love #3 you both look great :)

Your photo bomber is so cute. He reminds me of Where The Wild Things Are with his pose. My favorite is outfit 3, but I like your versions of coral, blue and white. I'm inspired to try this challenge but don't have enough self discipline to stay with it for a week.

The top in #1 is beautiful on you! Wow! And your photobomber takes after his mother for the cuteness :). Great outfits!

    #3 is my favorite!

The top in 1 is lovely. Do you miss black?

Nice job! These colors look good on you, and I am torn between 2 and 3 as my favs.

    Thanks everyone :)

I do miss black a bit - not a lot, but it's so easy - and I have to think less to pull it off (kinda like wearing everything with blue jeans.  If I went a week without blue jeans, that would be a real challenge....).

I'm allowing black back this week, and it feels good :)

Your photobomber is adorable and looks like he has his mom's eyes. :) My favorite of your outfits is #3. I'm also admiring your cuffed jeans and Birkies in #2. I bet you're glad you bought the Birkies!

#3 is adorable. What a great - and colour matched - photo, Amy.

I agree #3 is great!  I think you should look for a summer topper as I notice you sometimes wear a shirt as a topper -- I think it would be a good investment for you to have a blazer/jacket in some cotton/linen type fabric for spring/summer.

My favorite is also #3, but all are really nicely put together – you look great!

Love #1 and #3! I'd actually love to see #2 without the shirt or try a different topper as Texstyle suggested.

A great trio of looks... How fun to move away from the black!

  • amiable replied 9 years ago

I love the idea of a light weight summer topper.  Thanks Texstyle!  I'll definitely look for one.

You're doing such a great job with your casual style (I'm thinking about your comment on Deborah's recent thread). I find casual outfits the very hardest to put together, but you do it well, day after day for your lifestyle. I love your Birkis and the skirt (?) in #1. Cheers!
