WIW: green, and a cowlneck over a buttondown

WIW from the last three days:

#1 I felt like wearing green on Saturday.  So I did.  Lots of invisible layers kept me in the at-least-not-freezing range.

#2 I wish this pic had turned out better.  The top is a cropped jacket that's navy and black brocade.  The bottom is a black eyelet flared skirt.  I'm wearing dark sparkly necklace and bracelet.  I got a lot of compliments on it.
(#3 is with the coat).

#4 is an attempt at Angie's formula from this morning.  I know it's not really working, so chuckle with me.  I'll probably change before I leave the house, unless I run out of time.

I love feedback and especially suggestions!

    1) That spring green is pretty on you.

    2) Sounds very pretty.  Hopefully you'll have another event to wear it and can get better pics for us.

    3) Lovely coat.  I'm always afraid to wear white outerwear.

    4) I do think the sweater needs a more fluid fit.  Can the cowlneck lay more forward?  It's fun trying Angie's formulas.

I like #4.  I think the plaid under the red sweater is cute.  It's kind of Christmas-y without being as obvious as wearing a Santa sweater.  I love your coat in #3 - it's just gorgeous on you.

Actually I think #4 works really well.
Love the green on you too.

You look gorgeous in green! I like the pairing with the BF jeans - perhaps adding a wide belt might make it even better? #2 looks like such a pretty silhouette on you. I think you're on the right track with #4, but maybe if the sweater and shirt were longer the proportions might work better? Looking forward to seeing the suggestions of others.

You look beautiful in that green! Looks like a nice and comfy outfit, too.

I love that white coat on you! And your Saturday outfit is lovely & casual. :)

I don't think 4 is far off the mark, maybe a bit of tweaking the sleeves/shirt tail (maybe a belt or semituck? not sure) would perfect it.

    Love you in green.
    That white coat is beautiful.
I like the cowl neck outfit.  I think you need to tweak the sleeves of the plaid shirt a little; fold back the cuffs or scrunch the sleeves.  I also like the idea of tucking the plaid shirt and wearing a belt.

Your green sweater looks so pretty on you and is a nod to the holiday season.

    Beautiful jacket and coat!

I'm wanting your cowlneck sweater to be a tad longer or your shirt to be a bit shorter. But the colors and the concept are great!

You look so good in green Amy! I really like the simplicity of that first outfit.

I'm trying to put my finger on the problem with the cowl neck outfit. It's not bad,  but I do think maybe if both the sweater and the shirt were a bit longer it would be better. I like the combo of a red sweater with the plaid shirt.

I swapped out the cowl for a plum sporty vest (kind of a puffer vest, that I wore unzipped).  i didn't get a picture, but it worked a lot better.
