I love the color combination and think the white in the shoes really kick it up a notch. Fun casual outfit!

I love this outfit. The bright sweater is gorgeous on you and looks great with blue. I think you nailed it with the Converse, although the mismatch isn't noticeable on my mini pad screen.

I love this Amy! The collar on your sweater is gorgeous and it looks lovely and soft. I think the mis-matched Converse are the perfect finishing touch.

Very nice! The coral color is flattering on you. Lovin' the mismatched Cons.

Wow! I love this! And I think the mis-matched Cons are fab!! (Must be the teenager in me coming out!)
We are both in coral and navy today! Although your outfit looks a lot more comfy than mine!

Amy you look fantastic in this coral colour. I love your cons - but I've told you that before. xo

LOVE! You do look great in that color and the cons add just the right easy breezy relaxed MOTG fabness.

This is a terrific combo for you, Amy, and it fits really well into your real life needs, too! Maximum impact, minimal fuss.

I missed the mismatched Cons acquisition - is it intentional? What a nice sweater - color and collar!
-

Oh no Pil, it wasn't intentional! I picked them up at a clothing giveaway - they were together, and looked like a pair to me... My second time wearing them was to a homeschool class, where I sat on the floor for an hour or so, with my feet out in front of me. I was horrified to look at them and notice that they didn't match!
When I got home, I discovered that they weren't even the same size! I lamented here, and while most lamented with me, a few (including Angie, I think), said that it looked intentional.
So I decided to keep them until I come across a replacement.
The next time I wore them, a young (19yo) friend of ours said "Wow, I LOVE your converse! How did you get one tongue white and the other black?!". And that's been the general teenager reaction since. I'm not sure anyone else has noticed, ha!

You are on a roll, Amy! The colours look wonderful on you, and I love how the white in the sneakers adds some crispness, while the collar on the jumper adds some visual interest. Another fab outfit!
(*smiling about the mismatched sneakers*)

OKAY. Wow. First impression: You look ah-mazing in orange. That really jumped out at me because it's not a good color on me. Don't know how you feel about color analysis, but I thought I'd throw that out there. You are probably some type of autumn? That's a funny story about the sneakers, and I'm so glad you kept them (as long as the size difference doesn't bother your feet). Great orange and blue outfit Amy!

Love this outfit...from top to toe! Worth a repeat.

Thanks Claire - I'm pretty sure I'm some not-quite-in-the-box cross between deep autumn and deep winter. I think I used to be closer to autumn, but as I age, my coloring is changing just slightly, and I suspect that I'm more winter than autumn now - but really I'm somewhere between. I do like the way this pinkish orange (it's pinker than the picture shows, but still within an orange/coral family) looks on me. Thanks! :)
