WIW Out to the theater

This is a repeat from last Sunday - with different shoes.  Do they work with the print and length of this dress, or should I switch to boots?

I'm headed out to the theater tonight - my little sister works for the Broadway show "War Horse" and it's in the city an hour away.  So we got comp tickets and hired a babysitter.  I can't wait!

(pic #2 - wiw earlier today.  I originally thought I'd just wear this to the theater, as I know most people won't be dressed up.  But then I figured, why not?)

#3 changed to these black pointy-toe oxfords - they're way more walkable for me.  Does the sliver of skin at the ankle look weird?

love those shoes - I think they play up the graphic diagonal print on the tunic!! - I'm extra fond of those shoes in your "everyday" outfit as well they look great as well

Still debating on shoes - hubby prefers the criss cross sandals.  So those will probably be it.

You're more dressed up in 3, but you still look relaxed and easy -- perfect for a world of extreme casualization.  Sliver of skin looks fine to me!

I like all of them but 3 looks more theater artsy than 2. I want to like the sandals in 1 with the tunic, especially because of the similar patterns, but I prefer the booties. maybe my eye just sees the sandals as that much more delicate or lighter than the upper portion of the outfit.

War Horse was a great show - I'm kind of embarrassed to say I got weepy over a mechanical horse! Which is the reason I knew I could never see the movie.

I like #3 better than #1 and if they are more comfy to boot (haha!) it is a no brainer. #2 is great too!

What Shevia said, and have a wonderful time!!

I wore #1, since it was my hubby's preference and I knew I would be sitting.  It worked out well, and I didn't have any troubles walking in them (which made me proud of myself.  I can walk in heels!)

The show was fantastic, of course!  And I got to see my little sister to boot (she does props for the show).

Your sister's job sounds fun! I saw the movie. Do you think I should see both?

Both shoe options work. Yay for success in heels!

I like outfit #2 as well. Nice bookending.

A bit late to the show here but I just wanted to say that you are killing the looks lately.  I love #1 and it's so great to get dressed up for the theatre whether anyone else does or not.  It's a celebration and it's fun to get dressed up to celebrate.  The sliver of skin looks fine on 3.

Happy that you had a great time at the theatre! A baby sitter is a blessing once in a while, right?

I Love both your day time outfit and the one you chose for the evening. Yay for heels! :-)

Okay. How cute are you in #1. Loving the match of skinny and oversized. Well done. The bob is getting there too. xo
