WIW the last few days

Just catching up on WIWs

Sorry for the poor lighting. I really need to start going outside for pics again.

#1 Worn for church yesterday (but the pic is from "trying on" outfits - when we actually went to church, I had makeup and reasonable looking hair.

#2 Trying out the big-neck pullover over buttoned-up shirt from Angie's post last week, and the denim-on-denim formula. And white shoes for spring trends :) I didn't end up liking the outfit though - not enough color for today.

#3 WIW today instead - subbed white for green. Much happier.

#4 Worn Saturday for cleaning the house.

I'd love suggestions for improvement on any/all of these :)

I love 3 on you. That blue and green together looks great on you.

4 is great for casual, but I think a different vest would look better. I love those red skinnies with those boots!

1 I can't see well, are you wearing black or navy underneath? I think a white belt and shoes, or green shoes or something would be fun with this.

I love the jacket in #1. #2-#3 seems to me that your jeans might need a little hemming (but it could be stance you are taking and they would be fine). I tend to like white shoes contrasted with black and not blue.

I agree with ceit that another vest would probably be a better choice but the boots and the red skinnies look fab together, maybe a different topper? Or how about wearing the denim shirt with the red skinnies and black boots?

Thanks Kate - I'm liking the green and blue today too. Kalli, you're right about the jeans - they're just a tad long for these shoes (they're better with a 1inch heel, and both the white and the green are pure flats. I just changed to my other (shorter) wide-legs!

In #1, it's all black, with a bright jacket. I think I like the way the jacket fits, and I'm glad I kept it after almost purging it because it's soooo bright. I'm loving colors right now, and liked the drama of it too.

And #4 wasn't even really picture worthy in my book - I just threw on clothes and kept adding more when I got chilly. :) At the end of the day, I was taking pics, so I decided to include it.

#3 is my favorite. And maybe try your denim shirt with denim bottoms that are significantly different in shade, not so close.

    Yay for my favorite #3!

You are looking really cute! I love the white shoes and long jeans. Love #1 (didn't think I would from the thumbnail, but surprise!). And I believe the red pants and boots can do no wrong.

I think you should look for a slouchy high-low sweater...

#3 if my fave down to the cheeky grin. that is such a flattering color on you. #1 is also great, but seems a bit unlike you.

ps...congrats on wearing non sweats to clean house.

I especially like #2 and #3, you should try #2 again!

Really liking the relaxed vibes of #2 and #3. Bookending the shoes the way you did in those outfits worked so well!

And #4 is ever stylish for cleaning the house :)

You look fab in that vivid apple green. Love it with the blue!

Love #2 and #3 -- just wear your shorter wide legs. I'd try that great jacket with a lighter (white) top. It would work really well with a skirt, too.

Love 3 and 4! In 4 you look like you're ready to hop on one of those Yamaha racing motor cycles.
