WIW: The less inspired?

Finishing up my backlog of WIW with the outfits that aren't directly inspired by a particular blog post (at least, not in my memory).

#1 is a near repeat outfit.  I tried it with sandals for spring, but it wasn't warm enough to keep up all day like this - I eventually switched to socks and black shoes.

#2 is a navy sweater with dark gray jeans.  It looks pretty bleh to me right now.

#3 is my slouchy gray sweater with mid-range blue jean skinnies.  To me this works better, but it still lower contrast than my preference.

Good outfits here! I really, really love the cut of the mid-range jeans on you in 3. They fit you just perfectly. I also love the collar of the navy sweater in #2 on you. I'm sure it wasn't blah at all, but if you want contrast, how about wearing it with the white jeans in #1? That would be extra crisp for spring.

#1 is very nice for spring. I also really like 3, But I do like low contrast outfits. I like the idea of the top in 2 with the white jeans.

I like all of these. The dark neutrals in 2 seem sophisticated to me, but if you felt meh, maybe adding a long pendant or a colorful scarf would help.

I love 2 - the mix of dark neutrals looks very current to me. Maybe it just didn't photograph all that well? Outfit 1 is fab too. How can you go wrong with cobalt and white :-).

Very nice!  I like them all, but #3 is my favorite.  I like the neckline in #3.  Wondering about #1 with different shoes.

I like your blue shoes and love the neckline on #3 because it's cool.

Amy, you look so fresh and bright tin #1. I would call it inspired by spring for sure.

And the others are also good. Strong and simple.

But it sounds as if you are getting clearer on your own preferences -- you like more contrast, and maybe more crispness in your colours?

Love the high contrast and easy polish in #1!

I think in better lighting you'd like the photo of #2 far better.  Navy blue is hard to photograph.

Love the silhouette in #3.  I know what you mean about contrast, but the tonal look really works.  I like these colors best in fall, so perhaps you're just needing a burst of spring to be really happy right now.

I'm a bit like you with regard to outfit 2 - perfectly fine but lacking the impact of 1&3. Love the high contrast of 1 not sure about the heavy black sandals I think a pointy toe flat would look great with these.
My personal favorite is the last outfit - no tweaking required - you look great.

These are all fab, but I love the Springiness of #1.

I also enjoy the contrast in #1 - you look happier in that one :)

I like #1 and #3 best too. Something about the shape of the sweater in 2 is bothering me slightly, maybe the wide collar not so flattering for you?

I love the cobalt and white together, but less sure of the shoes.  #2 and #3 are also great, but I am so ready for spring  ;)
