WIW: Picasso 4, the acrobat

I went for the super simple interpretation today - gray and purple, and ombre for the gradient background.

My ombre ends up being my gray, and I didn't have any purple to go with it, so that turned in to burgundy to match my hair.

I actually like it pretty well, though I don't think it's at all creative.  Here, I'll throw in an acrobatic pose :)  (I'm remarkably un-flexible, so you don't get to see me try to touch my toes.  But I can do the lotus pose just long enough for my camera timer, so here it is.)

Sorry for the lack of make-up and combed hair.  That's just how it is around here.  I'm hoping to get ambitious and put some on before my date with hubby tonight :)

I like your interpretation, amiable, and I'm impressed by your lotus pose - you  look very flexible to me.

Nice interpretation, love the sweater!  And great lotus pose :)

Unflexible? That's flexible to me! Super fun. Y'all are giving me great ideas for alternatives to that lavender violet... which I really don't do.

Fun, and I am really liking your hair in this longer length.  I don't think I can even do the pose you did in 2 so you are not the most unflexible, haha

Okay - maybe I should clarify - my hamstrings are super short.  I can't touch my toes.  If my legs are straight, I can only reach a few inches below my knees.  See?  Not very acrobatic.

The rest of me is reasonably flexible :)

Hah. Cute acrobatic pose. The ombre pullover is fab with the burgundy, which picks up your new hair colour. Nicely done.

I can't touch my toes either. I can get about as far as you. I don't consider myself inflexible though because other areas of my body, like my shoulders are fairly flexible. It's just my hamstrings.

I love that ombre sweater! Every time I see it, I think what a great piece it is.

Cute outfit, Amy, and the colors are really nice on you. The sweater is really cool. I do love a good ombre effect! And yes, acrobatics are a challenge for me, too.

These are fab colours & very in tune with the painting :) Love your lotus pose photo.

Amy, you are a great sport, and that is its own kind of acrobatics! :)
