WIW: psychadelic and riffing off merwoman

Yesterday I wore this print top (#2).  My brother-in-law called it a major psychadelic trip.  I liked it until then, ha :)

Today I decided to pair blush with white (#1).  To ground it with my coloring I took a cue from merwoman and added brown.  I like the combination better with a little brown, but I should have worn a shirt under the sweater like she did - next time :)

Well, this doesn't seem psychedelic to me--and although I never indulged, I lived through that era.  I think it's a pretty print with great colors and the style is flattering on you.

Agree with MM - this is pattern! And I love your first outfit!

I beg to differ with your brother in law! Your top is a flattering pattern and I think I am wearing the same one today in a different pattern. The blush and white is so pretty on you, the brown is a good idea!

I love the blue top. The blush is great on you too.

I'm on a big Wall dive-bomb - I'm here for the tops! Great tops! hehe...

Some guys can have such interesting observations about fashion.  :)  I see so psychedelic!  That blush looks so great with your complexion and I love the book ending with the brown and your hair.

I just looked at these pictures again.  I should scrunch my sleeves on the blush.

    Done.

Now I feel like I can leave the house :)

It's a riff inside a riff! I think it's gorgeous on you Amy - and the sleeve scrunching will just send it into orbit. Love the silhouette and the colour is just fantastic for your complexion.

Love #1 -- it's perfect.  Works with or without a blouse.

I see your brother's point about the psychedelic top, and I *will* admit to having indulged...

Wonder what you brother would say about a truly psychedelic shirt lol.  #1 is beautiful and the belt and shoes are pefect.  The soft blush is very flattering on you Amy.

The top in #2 is gorgeous, great colours and love the cross over.  I am not sure it lends itself particularly well to the tuck but that could just be me.

#1 is nice, but #2 is out of the ballpark! I think you look gorgeous in #2. And it's not psychedelic at all.

I love the blush and white paired together. Stylish and a very comfortable looking outfit. The blue top in # 2 looks great on you.
