WIW: summer top trials

A few pics from trying on my way through my box of summer tops.

#1 White with red and black detail (also see in #4, since #1 shoes got cut off).  Is it too tight?

#2 White with black toile print.  I suspect it's too short and boxy?

#3 Green and black "shark-bite" top.  I like the shape and the print, but wish is was longer.  Should I let it go?

#5 Blue chambray camp shirt.  I like the color, and the non-wrinkle factor, I'm pretty unsure about the puffy shoulders though - do they make me look like a linebacker?

#6 Pink/purple/black/white and squares tank.  It's a bit low-cut for me (hence the black tank underneath), but it good quality (Ann Taylor), and I think the size and length are nice.

What do you think, should any of these stay? I have plenty of others, and you'll likely be seeing over the next few weeks.

I'd say #6 is definitely a keeper.  I like it with the tank underneath.  Maybe #3 for certain occasions, but it's kinda hard to see in the sun.

I like 3 and 6 the best of all of these. A lot of them look too short to me.

I agree with Ceit on both counts.  But try them with skirts, the length might work better.

Ahh - I'd forgotten to think about length of most of these.  Yes, I like 6 and am inclined to keep it.  I'm iffy on 3.  I like 5, but hadn't noticed how short it was.

Thanks for helping me hone my tops!  (fwiw, I actually got rid of three without having to ask!  One was too small, one too girly, and the third one had ruffles).

#3 and 6 i like, Id pass on the rest I htink. Ir try to make #5 a sleeveless maybe. Also, dont forget those cool summer skirts need a slightly shorter top than a pant will proportionwise. #3 would be a great length with the pointy hem interest over a skirt!

I like 6 the best. I think 3 is flattering but something about the print/overall style makes me think it is dated. #2 might work if you scrunch up the sleeves and wear it with a skirt. Bring on the next batch!

I like 3 and 6. Of course, I didn't notice anything being short...I often think things are too long. Never ask me what looks dated, I won't know!

I also like 6 the best and think it is a keeper. 3 has potential but it is hard to see in the light. I think I would pass on the others.

I agree that #3 and #6 are the best of the lot.  I think #2 could work if you cut off the sleeves.  I think the sleeve length might be making it look boxier and it might work if it was sleeveless.

I love #3!  Six is great too.

Another vote for 3 & 6 and I also think 2 has possibilities. The color of 5 is lovely on you. I don't think it looks too short for your crops but would like it better sleeveless.

Yet another vote for 3 and 6.  I think the other tops are not the best in terms of fit and lengths.
