WIW: Bright pink and soft? red

When I first saw this ensemble, I thought "Too bad I don't have those colors - they're so pretty together".  Then I was trying to decide what to wear this morning, and my neon pink pants jumped out at me.  I decided to try out pairing them with this brick-red (almost rust) mesh sweater, and liked the result.  I paired it with a bronze necklace and bronze-toned sandals, and carried my cognac back pack.  Thanks Angie for the idea!

All feedback and suggestions for improvement are welcome :)

Thank you all!  I love when I find completely new to me ways to wear clothes that I've had for a long time!

(And thanks for the hair love too.  I'm actually considering taking it a bit longer and softer for fall/winter, but I've very much enjoyed the short spunky cut I have also).

That's a great combination. Isn't it wonderful when you find new ways to wear clothes you already have?

Looks great on you, really works well with your hair color and I love your shoes and accessories.

Great combination and I love your haircut!  I had the same thought about Angie's post - lovely colors but I don't have them in my closet.  Unfortunately, while I have lots of blush, there's no hidden red pieces, not even a scarf.

Hooray for inspiration from pieces you already own!  Angie's ensembles have a magical way of spurring me on to try new combos.

I love to see forum members make amazing discoveries in their closets!  That's the best thing about Angie's ensemble posts -- opening our eyes to new possibilities.  Excellent job making this sophisticated outfit!  So much more interesting and fresh than most of my summer go-to combinations!

    Oh, I like this!

I like this combo on you!  It doesn't really look neon pink on my monitor though. Still it gives me encouragement. I don't suit the type of pink shown on Angie's post, and I've been wondering if it would still work with a cooler pink and you have shown that it does.
