WIW: not beatles

But I do think that Beatle booties would be perfect with this outfit....

Anyway - simple black skinnies, broken-stripes shirt.  Non-beatle booties :)

    That shirt is great!

I like this Amy:)  The colour in the shirt and the skinny jeans.  Beatle boots would look so fab, but these are working.   How does the Speigel look over this ensemble?

Very nice! I love the blue stripes in the shirt.

That shirt is fab on you!  And yes, Beatle boots would be great but I also love the ones you're wearing!

No need to apologize for lack of beatles. Although I do feel some coming on!

Deborah - It looks good with  the Spiegel too, but decided it was too warm to wear.  I was going to post the pics (and will here), but then noticed that one lapel was folded in.  Ha.

I'm not sure what was wrong with my camera- all the shots came out really grainy.

And Shevia - I'm only hoping at this point, to find some used.  I don't see myself affording new ones just yet - they would almost too similar to these to pay a new price for :)

And thanks for the shirt love - I picked it up at Goodwill, thinking to laugh at it because it was so strange.  Then it drew me in.  As soon as I had it on, I was in love.  It's Calvin Klein, and I got lots of compliments on it today.

Wow!  Love that shirt!  I'm not used to seeing you in a pattern - this is really working on you!  Also, I really like the booties you are wearing - it looks as though they have covered buttons?

Super cute! Love how you buttoned it all the way. And yes, Beatle booties would be awesome with this.

Gorgeous, Amy! Did you sew this shirt by your own????

  • replied 10 years ago

Wow love the shirt! And I am going to experiment with folding my Spiegel under like that to make it lapelless too.

I don't know who takes your pictures, but my hubby takes mine and he never tells me when my outfit is wonky either.  I love the patterned shirt with the dark jeans and booties.  I think this outfit looks great on you.

Great shirt! Beatle booties would look fab, but your shoes look good too!

This is so nice on you. Still definitely has the uncontrived, unfussy look I think of as your hallmark, but very current and SO flattering. I love it.

I love the shirt with and without the jacket.Everyone seems to be doing this shade of blue with black and very dark navy.

Oh, you look so pretty in #2. I like your lippie and heavy fringe.

It's a YLF order to purchase Beatle booties.

  • Mona replied 10 years ago

The shirt is so interesting. Great thrift purchase!

  • Beth Ann replied 10 years ago

Love this, Amy!  The shirt is modern, your legs look miles long, and I agree with Angie that your hair and lip color are adding alot to this look.

  • MsLuna replied 10 years ago

Love the pattern of the shirt! The jacket ties the look together too!

PS: why are these booties called Beatle booties?
