Fun casual and bright with a nice dose of tomboy. I like that the coraly/pink shirt adds just the right amount of feminine.

Cute as punch. Your smile made me smile.
You need Beatle booties in your life. xo

Thanks Angie - What are Beatle booties? No wait, I'll google it.
Ooh... You're right! I have some the right shape (or close) but the wrong color. Maybe I'll buy some black leather paint....

Is the main difference between the booties I'm wearing and beatle booties the toe shape? (Beatle booties are pointier). Am I missing a different difference?

Flat Pointy Toe Booties. They were made for your style:

Angie has it nailed! I think Beatle booties and you are made to be together.
Cute fall outfit!

Yeah! Some booties would be super for you!

I just bought a pair of Beatle booties in white, Amy. They were made for my style too.

Okay - on my wish list they go :) Not suede though - I'd ruin it in a heartbeat. Love the idea though of the flat and pointy toes.

Positively love this tomboy look on you Amy. Great combo with dark denim and orange.
You NEED Beatle boots!

OKay, just clarifying (humor me). These ones:
http://www.amazon.com/Taos-Wom.....B007OTFH3A
aren't Beetle booties because their toe isn't pointy, right? (They're also not quite flat, but I don't think that's as big of a difference).
I get to go shopping the week of the 23rd. Hoping I come across a pair that can be considered beetle booties :)

You look great Amy! I don't think the amazon ones are pointy enough or flat enough and I don't think you want the buttons or bunching. They do often have elastic insets to make them easier to go on.

Thanks for the clarification Shevia. I think I have a good idea what I'm looking for as I scout around in a couple of weeks :)

Amy, I wore my new white Beatle booties today and I'm really pleased
with them. Wore them with black straight legs, turquoise blouse, gold
belt, charcoal military blazer and white clutch. These are the booties:

And what Shevia said.

Love your outfit! You look amazing in coral!
The amazon booties aren't Beatle booties because they aren't high enough, and because real Beatle booties don't have any detail other than the elastic insets.

Love you flap pocket jeans! Great tomboy look and look forward to those beetle booties :)

Very helpful MaryK Thank you for adding the visual. I never noticed their shoes I guess, and thought perhaps the beatle was referring to the bug. :)
I'm going to look through my box of out-of-rotation shoes tonight to confirm that I don't have these, then, (assuming I don't) pray to find some soon! :)
You all are the best!

Okay, one more.... ;)

Those Zara ones are stunning Angie. Just looking at them makes me want them. WOW WOW WOW.

And MaryK you're making me drool with those gorgeous shoe pics. I think now I'll recognize these anywhere. I must find some :)

Wow! You look so cute! This color is great on you - and what a nice combination with the denim for fall.
(Also, I agree - your style is just crying out for a pair of Beattle booties! - hope you find some soon!)
