#2-7. My company decided to let a woman pick what the women would wear for our upcoming conference. So these are the three tops that arrived for me today. We're told to wear them with "black pants or skinnies". Do any of these work better than others? (Three with black skinnies, three with charcoal wide legs that I think are dark enough to pass.)

I like the tops for your event (which surprises me). I prefer the skinnies, but also like #7. Is that the same pair of pants in pics #5-7?

I like today's casual outfit. Wow, those are much more interesting tops than usual for conference wear, cool. I like the two darker ones and with the skinnies best - very nice silhouette.

#3 is my favorite, good combination of more flowy top and fitted pants. I also think that cobalt blue color is the most flattering with your coloring.

Wow, that person had confidence in their pick! I mean I think they're ok to pretty good and it also suits you very well especially 3/4 with the skinnies. But I bet there are women out there who would not feel flattered by these and/or find them odd.

For corporate wear very nice indeed! I like them best with skinnies but also like number 7. I think the light colour one is best paired with the black skinnies.

Thanks Everyone! Skinnies it is (I'll probably take along the wide-legs in case I get the skinnies dirty or they bag out badly).
The pants in 5-7 are all the same.
And today's outfit is just casual, not really working - I was in a 90s grunge mood :)

Yep… agree with everyone that the skinnies are most fab. I love look #3. For corporate tops, none of these are bad… so much better than awful polo shirts. PS -- Today's outfit is great!

The tops look good on you, especially in #3. They look modern on you. I could see how someone might feel like they were wearing a blanket, though.

I agree with your choice! I think the skinnies help balance the volume/drape of the top. Also agree that the cobalt looks terrific.

2 and 3 are my faves here - they emphasize your long legs and the tops are flowy but flattering (though the black is hard to see). I'm not in love with the light blue wrap thing. Outfit 1 is cute but really casual.

First, I love what you wore today! As far as the work tops. #3 is my favorite with the skinnies. I can't quite see the shape of the black one. The light blue looks a bit like a blanket. If you only get to choose one, I would choose the cobalt. Glad to see corporations are getting beyond polos!

I love you in #1, it totally feels like "you" with the plaid and demin but really really fab version. I like the corporate wear so much better than a polo, like the slim pant and cobalt top best. I wonder if the button could be moved so the light blue wrap is a little bit more open at the neckline? I think that would flatter a bit more, but it certainly isnt bad, esp. considering the purpose.

Super late to this but had to chime in and say how fab you look in the corporate ensemble in 2 and 3. Very sleek.

Whoa!!!! This is corporate wear with a difference. Oh my goodness, just comparing it to what you wore when you joined...remember the polo shirts? These are amazing!!
I love #2 and #3 best. You look terrific.
With the light blue, are you allowed to wear it open? If so, a black top for a column of colour might work, and I'll bet it would look really fun -- the pale blue is on trend!
