WIW: the weather plays a joke

I so thought it was spring last Saturday when it was nice and warm. Then the worst storm of the winter hit. Joke's on me, because I boxed up all my super wintry clothes Saturday afternoon. Oh well.

#1 What I wore for boxing up clothes. I found this sweater languishing (in the probation box), and loved it. So it's resurrected as "cold spring" wear.

#2 To church. It would look better with blue booties. I did a light pink shiny lip, and liked it.

#3 Today - Black and blue - A black shell and black trousers with yesterdays chambray over top. The shirt has the top few buttons open, so more black shows at the neckline than looks like in the pic.

All feedback and suggestions more than welcome!

    I think we're about to get hit with the same joke! It's been warm and will get to 8-9 C this week, but I bet a snowstorm is right behind it...

    Love the blues on you. I do like the booties in #2, and #3 is a nice, sleek look. Your little guy looks like you, he's a cutie!

    Yeah, this happens all the time here. Pussy willows out on Friday, snowstorm on Saturday. I don't trust that it's reall over till the end of May.

    #3 is my favorite. Simple, but with a strong boot.

    What about lighter (taupe or white, perhaps) pants with this combo?

    3 is my fav... I do really like those booties in two as well. Fun scrunch on the cuffs!

    I really love 3.

    2 is good but I think a more saturated yellow would look better.

    Thanks you all! I've liked wearing #3 today.

    Great suggestion to try the aqua sweater from #1 with the red skinnies pil, and to try the chambray over lighter pants with the boot (I'll do that soon probably).

    And I'm watching for a deeper yellow topper :)

    Oh, you jinxed it!!! I never box my winter stuff until late April. Because of similar experiences in the past.

    Love 3, especially - I have worn that combination, too! It's a favourite fall back.

    I know Suz! I do this every year. Every season in fact. I wonder if I'll ever learn!

    At least it was warm with the snow today - everything was super slushy, but we hardly needed our coats.

    Yes, of course boxing away winter clothes awakens the snow gods, just like my skirt last week awakened the freezing, -30 C wind gods. yeah, more ski season for me.

    I love picture 3. I think you really really look good in V neck!

    Amy you are so pretty and you remind me so much a very good friend I had in high school!

    I like each of these. #1 looks geat. Fab silhouette and colours. #2 I think the grey booties work extemely well with the blue shirt and #3 is classic MOTG.

    I like #3 the best as well - love the chambray shirt over the black fitted pants and he booties are cool. I like the resurrected jumper too and would love to see it with the black pants & booties.
